There is over 1000 acres of wilderness within the park boundaries, but the park is surrounded by the 4700-acre Mohican-Memorial State Forest. This area contains a covered bridge, fire tower, and a large memorial shrine. If you love hiking there are hundreds of miles worth of hiking trails, biking trails, and even horse trails! All this and bountiful fishing in the river and even hunting when in season.
